USA: Pray It Forward

We know our country is in trouble.  We also know that we serve a limitless, all-powerful God who can heal the broken–us, our lives, our nation. And we know the power of prayer.
The Scriptures tell us that when two agree, ask in Christ’s name, it will be done and God promises that if we repent and follow His ways, He’ll heal our land.

We sorely need healing.

And that got me to thinking.  If we pray it forward–praying for our nation and our people, then we can expect the miracle of restoration.  And so I’m asking you to join me in praying it forward.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

I’ll post and then you click “COMMENT” and post your prayer.

Blessings,

Vicki

One Response to USA: Pray It Forward

  1. Maureen Lang says:

Heavenly Father, we’re so grateful for the many, many blessings You’ve bestowed upon America. From the natural resources You gave us to the resources You inspired in us, enough to fight for: freedom—freedom of speech, to practice our faith, to work in areas that best suit our individuality. In so many ways You have allowed America to prosper and to inspire others.
But in recent years we somehow took one of our greatest gifts — that freedom — and used it in ways that have hurt us and our society. The freedom to ignore You, our Creator. We’ve become a post-Christian nation. Father, we ask that you awaken those who have never seen Your love, Your grace, Your freedom, and inspire those who have but have somehow become complacent. Ignite another great awakening in America, to once again remind us and the world of Your restoration, both personal and national.
Strengthen leaders who see that tolerance seems to be required for everything except Christianity. Help us to start with our neighbors to represent You in a way that will reveal and not hide Your message of love and grace.
Let all who notice what even our bills and coins can remind us: In God We Trust. Let it be so, Lord.
